The Wendy's is still there...I'm unclear on whether or not the renderings above are the most up to date as I was under the impression there were going to be some additional demolitions.

PhillyYIMBY is not a reliable source for news. As discussed already in this thread, the project has been altered significantly due to FAA pushback regarding its height and proximity to a helipad.

Kind of wild seeing as the author is a regular participant on this forum.

Are you sure that's not the reduced height version?

Nope, see page 1 of this discussion. The height in this article is the same as specified back then.

the most recent permit is just a demo permit, it says nothing about what will replace the demolished building.

I was taking a look at the UrbanPHL Facebook group and saw that someone posted a picture of the old Wendy's being demolished! I may try to head down that way tonight and confirm.

Well the photo itself is pretty solid solid confirmation. On the other hand, the adjacent buildings on Walnut and 11th to be demolished were still untouched.

Does the plan still include demo of the the 2 adjacent buildings, 1 on Walnut, the other on 11th? I hope not.

You mean 3 adjacent buildings — 2 on Walnut and 1 on 11th St. The demo permits are still listed for the additional buildings and I haven't heard anything new.

The renders here seem to show only 1105 Walnut coming down. Have things changed?
