A 32-story, 356-foot residential tower called The Vine is in the planning stages in Edgewater.

The project is proposed to be built on an assemblage of land at 404-435 NE 35th Street. Several homes dating back as far as 1920 will be demolished.

In total, 124 units are proposed, with a typical floor having five units. A four-level parking garage will have 217 parking spaces.

G&L Associates at 35th Street, LLC is the developer. Idea Architecture, which designed The Crimson, is the architect.

Incredible how much the area has changed in the last decade.

^ Yes it is but sadly as mentioned in the article some 1920's era homes & buildings will have to be demolished for this project. Edgewater is one of Miami's oldest & one of it's most walkable neighborhoods.
