FALL COLOR: In and near Fallingwater, SW Pennsylvania

Here are a few photos I took yesterday while driving from Pittsburgh to Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece, Fallingwater. These were taken both at Fallingwater itself as well as around Ohiopyle. Hope you enjoy!

Yeah, Fallingwater is open to the public, but given that October is the busiest month of the year for visitors there, there was no way we could get tickets for a house tour yesterday at the spur of the moment. I've been through it once before about a year ago, and frankly, I think it's more interesting from the outside than it is from the inside!

And thanks for the compliments as well!

Thanks, dude. Yeah, Fallingwater is pretty awesome, by far (in my opinion) the best freaking Wright architecture in existence. I normally don't care for his work, but Fallingwater's certainly awesome personified!

Cool stuff glowrock. It's a beautiful house. There is a house in West Vancouver designed by Arthur Erickson when he was a young man, always reminded me of Fallingwater because of how well it fit in with the surroundings.

Shoot, just did a google, looks like it was demo'd in 2007:

Love this time of year!

Forgive me, but being born and raised in Appalachian Ohio, I have to do it.

Moo! MOO. Moo.
