It won't be long now until The One starts to creep up beside One Bloor.

Not much happening here. Sad to say, I've passed it several times in the past week and a half and it hasn't really budged construction wise.

They were doing a ton of concrete work this week. Finishing off the floors, walls, and supports on the concourse retail level. They were also doing a lot of pouring at the south end of the site this week. Hopefully we see some steel arrive for the main tower soon.

Ok, I have to say it. I want to rip that man purse off that guy and slap him in the face with it.

Great pics though Chad. Is it time to pull her off this list?

Wow, that might be the most outright homophobic thing I've ever seen on here. I mean, even if you are gay (I don't remember?) it's still verrry homophobic. There's really no other way to understand a statement so blatant as that. Yikes dude. What the hell's up with that?

But yeah I mean the upper three floors on the east side are taking forever to finish the exterior because of some technical issues. So it's up to Ramako or whoever to decide I guess.

I am and it was more of an anti douchebag "bag" comment. I never assumed that man was gay. Sorry if it came across to you as homophobic, but I never assume ones sexuality based on how they dress.

I see the practicality of a purse. It's sexist that men don't make use of them. The douches are the people waving around single use plasic bags and coffee cups.

What's wrong with purses anyway? They seem practical to me. It seems like a sensible option as compared to jamming stuff into pockets as most men do and having to carry around a big bulky backpack or duffel bag.

That guy's bag strikes me as the perfect size for carrying around a few essentials. I don't get why he shouldn't carry one just because he's a dude.

EDIT: I see whipper and I are on the same page on this one

I have one and I am not gay. It looks more like a hugely oversized wallet than a purse. I don't wear it slung over my shoulder though it does have a short strap that I sometimes hang on my wrist.
