your 5 favorite structures that have ever existed

Does not have to be a list

http://inzumi.com/en/travel/point-of...tosphere-Tower

Stratosphere Las Vegas

I think that this tower is the nices observatory tower in the world. I have been to the top many times and always look foward to the next trip up. it was also built the year i was born.

http://www.southlandarchitecture.com...p?ID=3624#Rate

Aon Center Los Angeles

The Aon center is my hometown skyscraper. I have adored this building ever since i started liking tall buildings.

http://skyscrapercenter.com/philadel...liberty-place/

One Liberty Plaza Philly

Nicest Building in philly. Whenever I think of philly this building is the first one to pop into my head. hands down one of the best buildings ever.

http://worldurbanista.com/?p=580

World Trade Center New York City

arguably the greatest building to have ever existed and in my opinion they are. They had a charm about them. They were also the first skyscraper i went to the top of(2000).

http://www.atlantaarchitecture.info/...tree-Plaza.php

Westin Peachtree Plaza Atlanta

This building is one of those perfect buildings. It has nothing wrong with it in my eyes. It is my favorite building in one of my favorite skylines in the world. How could you not this tower.

We have a better twin of the Westin Peachtree Plaza here in Detroit. The Renaissance Center.

Nah, I have been to both many times. The Ren Cen has better glass and no ghastly radio mast on top. Also, with the new lighting scheme it appears much more modern. The Ren Cen is also a bit taller.

Anyway, for my list I would have to say.

1. The Chrysler Building
2. Michigan Stadium
3. The Shanghai World Financial Center
4. The U.S. Capitol
5. St Paul's Cathedral/The Dome of the Rock (toss up tie for 5th place)

I think that the mast on top completes it. In pictures befor the mast was put up it does not look as good. But dont get me wrong the RenCen is awsome to.

I have to agree. The Ren Center in Detroit is a much better looking complex.

For me, I would say off the top of my head

Shoot, I forgot about the Cathedral of Learning... So many good structures it is hard to pick 5. I have actually been to the top floors of the CoL and the views are magnificent.

If I could have more than 5 places I possibly would have put other items other than skyscrapers. The Brooklyn Bridge and Duomo in Milan are some of my non skyscraper favorites.

Hard to narrow down. I did it by considering: if I could pull 5 pieces of architecture from around the world into my city, which would they be?

1) Eiffel Tower, Paris
2) Chrysler Building, NYC
3) City Hall, Philadelphia
4) Saint Basil's Cathedral, Moscow
5) Statue of Liberty, NYC

No necessarily the top, but these are 5 things off the top of my head that I like a lot. These would all be at least in the top 10.

Pantheon
ESB
Hagia Sophia
Temple Pyramids of Tikal
Brooklyn Bridge
