Not surprised the Bay Area has so many; EV's are so common around here. I can throw a rock and hit about a dozen Model Y's. All of which are doing 10 miles below the speed limit...

What pattern can be spotted? As a non american i think of "liberal" cities, and also mainly cities with higher medium incomes.

What else? Mainly white?

Baltimore was a surprise to me.

No state has done more to promote EVs than California, so no surprise that all of the top cities are there. I tried looking for a comparison of gas stations per metro, but there's no quickly accessible list.

Kind of surprised that Seattle isn't higher, but, good on the other metros for doing more.

Battery tech doesn't do so well in cold, I'm not too surprised.

Most EVs I’ve seen also don’t look like they’d tackle serious snow very well, either. Generally smaller and lower to the ground.

Kansas City’s placement is a surprise to me.
