I agree. I think it's a lot more sleek than I was excepting. The renderings just look like two boxes stacked on top of each other. Where in real life, from a lot of angles, it looks like a 360ft tower with a widened base.

The renderings also made the cladding appear more washed-out, and not as dark and sleek as in real life.

Yeah it almost looked brown in the renderings, where it's charcoal in real life. The one thing is, I haven't seen the brick base up close in person, but I feel like it might have been better gray all the way down. From the few pictures that capture it, it looks maybe a bit disjointed and odd. I'll have to wait til it's done before judging it, but that's the only thing I'm unsure about.

I think others have mentioned this before, but I was driving into the city on the Schuylkill yesterday and this one was very noticeable. Definitely stands out from its' surroundings!

I have barely been driving since I left my last job but even 6 months ago it was super prominent on the skyline coming into the city on the schylkill. I bet it looks great now.

Taken 4/18 from Market St (Post office patio, specifically.) This could be a really nice gateway into UCity/West Philly in a few years

^ Taken on its own, it's a little underwhelming (reminds me a bit of the old Penn Center Inn), but so much more in context.

It has quite the presence though when you're taking the train into Suburban. Very imposing from that angle.

Yes. That was one of the things I meant by the context making the difference.

You can get some interesting frames while shooting on the Walt Whitman Bridge. I even think the Walt has better views than the BFB, which is also why I wish it had sidewalks

Totally agree. But I am always the one driving so can't do much more than take a few glances.
