Yes the new moose is amped up to kill more motorists. The old one was more plodding and sad.

Moose rarely win any altercation with a motor vehicle. Sometimes however the match is a draw...........

From the horror stories I've heard motorists get killed quite often hitting moose due to the animal's high centre of gravity causing the weight of its body and antlers to fall directly onto the cab of the vehicle.

I can see them freaking out, not knowing that brouillard simply means "fog."

I think that just occasionally, and simply for purposes of clarity, it might not hurt the Quebec government to make just a few roadsigns bilingual, if for no other reason than simply for safety purposes...........
I haven't seen the word "brouillard" on a sign in Quebec in a long time. At least one that isn't accompanied by a very clear pictogram. But yes they used to have the word on them, so maybe they took your hint.

This is what the fog signs look like in Quebec now:

Interesting. I remember the signs from a long time ago, and, I must admit I haven't seen any recently.

The new sign is still kinda confusing. It looks like they're warning you about entering an area with heavy vehicular exhaust smoke.

Yeah, they have one of these outside the elementary school behind my house. Like, right in front of the school. I wonder if someone got run over in the past.

More than likely.. there are so many fools driving by this school, especially at peak school times..

You'd think they'd name roads after actual fictional Vulcans: Spock Blvd; T'Pau Way; Surak Street.

Or customs: Pon Farr Avenue; Koon-ut-kal-if-fee Drive. Plomeek Soup Circle.

Town council may not have had Trekkers though.

What if it means that there are pantless girls with one loose sock sleeping in the street that you need to beware of?
