Time to move this project to the "under construction" section and I will so request. They have one crane up and functioning now and the base for a second one in place. They have already poured the ground-covering base and are installing rebar for the foundation pad or basement level.

It's hard to get a good photo--the workmen chased my away today twice as I was about to get something better than these--but I think they give an idea:

So it's also time for you guys with the drones or better vantage points to shift your gaze from across the street where that project is approaching completion to this one also.

It's so strange how quickly this city can look flat and almost rural from certain angles. Without those cranes and the 1500 Mission in the background, this pic would look like it was taken in Denver or outside of Dallas in 96 or something.

Saw the 2 cranes from Market St. though an alley. Amazed at the size of the larger crane.

quite visible as you walk south from Market

even all the way from Eagle Plaza

always nice to get a 2-fer, with 1554 Market also peeking out in the background

3/22/2020 - view of 30 Otis from the 1600 block of Market St. This whole block of Market St. is the one that is slated to be developed with a high rise. The area behind the building on the right of the parking lot is where there is a BART ventilator. I hear BART trains passing in the tunnel when I walk by the area.

I took some pics last week too. I will post it in a bit.

Also, you can see this project taking shape in the skyline right now. VERY exciting. I wonder how it looks like from Dolores

I imagine that's a windshield. It gets super gusty in them parts.
