The Bizarre Canada Thread

This thread is for posting buildings in Canada that aren’t ugly but are bizarre.

For starters, here’s Toronto’s Greek house

Toronto’s Halfway House

Niagara’s Ripley’s Museum

Toronto’s OCAD

Edmonton’s AGA

And finally Edmonton’s Talus Dome

Thread might benefit from some suggested criteria for "bizarre".

It looks like something went wrong with the camera. Was the other half torn down? Nice idea for a thread.

Yup. It was originally a semi, a developer bought one half and tore it down to build that apartment next door.

This might be the strangest house in Edmonton.

If nightmarish qualifies, Saint John, New Brunswick has some of the creepiest Victorians I've ever seen.

Love those. I wish we had streets and streets full of those, either as rowhousing or detached.

I already like this thread.

Big fan of the Saint John Victorian houses.

TO making me go WTF regarding the half-way house lol.

And that castle house is proof that money can't buy taste.

Bizarre but not necessarily ugly... I think our weirdest is the South Beach building.

There's also a random Winnipeg (and presumably elsewhere on the mainland) house in the West End. It's even stucco!

The UFO Restaurant in Niagara Falls Ontario. The food is horrendous but the atmosphere is so tacky ya just gotta love it.
