Virgil being listed as the coolest street in LA is a joke. Virgil Village is up and coming, but it probably has less than half a dozen hipster haunts (bagel place that people wait in insane lines for, a breakfast spot named Sqirl that was popular before it was revealed they had a mold problem, a couple of vintage/thrift stores), but the business district is still pretty oriented to the working class Hispanic neighborhood it's in. Structurally, it's pretty underwhelming...https://www.google.com/maps/@34.0842...7i16384!8i8192

I don't get it. Much cooler options exist in LA.

This is a point.

Karl Heine Strasse in Leipzig has that.

As does Bornaische strasse.

There's nothing wrong with Oranienstrasse in Berlin but it's a bit basic by now. It doesn't have that non-homeless people acting like homeless people energy.

Given the Gen X vibe of this article, I'm surprised that South Street (Society Hill/Queen Village) and/or Main Street (Manayunk) in Philadelphia didn't make the list.

Speaking for the Millennials/Gen Zs in their 20s, the coolest street in Philadelphia is, hands down, Frankford Avenue in Fishtown and East Kensington. I fully believe that either Front Street and/or N 2nd Street have the potential to steal that designation as I approach my 30s. There's so much action under the El nowadays.

Foreigner streets are not cool by definition.
