Yes, I think it should. The 1,066 ft figure is no longer in play so 992 ft (at least for now) is the current proposed height.

Thanks for the thread title update. According to https://sfyimby.com/2022/06/reduced-...francisco.html we should also update "85 FL" to "89 FL."

Hopefully this will get approved. Likewise with 620 Fulson.

Hopefully this will get built! Not all approvals get built like we're currently seeing with Oceanwide and Parcel F, which appear to be stuck in limbo.

I really hope it does not get built, or at least with this design in mind. The height is amazing! Nonetheless, the design reminds me of something I'd see at a beach resort and not something necessarily belonging to the financial district of San Francisco.

Yes, overall I'm digging the new updated and detailed renderings.

A nice change up from the newer glass towers in its southern vicinity. The rich, earthy tones of the cladding and the eight massive 100 ft columns at the base harkens to the redwood tree grove in the courtyard. I like how the tower is broken up into 3 distinct segments to add aesthetic interest and help visually elongate the tower, and how the balconies are incorporated into the façade of the building rather than jutting outwards. Has that sort of mid century modern vibe about it. It's also interesting how all the windows are actually angled. Hopefully that doesn't get value engineered out of the project.

The public open space with the urban forest also looks to be a fantastic addition, offering a bit of quiet tranquility to residents and visitors from the hustle and bustle on the main streets.

100% - when the proposal was just 4 feet shy of Salesforce, it made the skyline look awkward and unbalanced. I'm very happy that they responded to Planning's concerns there, hopefully it can get approved more easily at this height as well.

Some parts of the design remind me a bit of 555 California. Very stately and balanced. Will make a great addition to the city, assuming it's ever built. The developer seems pretty bullish right now, at least...

Yea, Oceanwide is a let down but I used to be more optimistic about Parcel F, but the way things are going I wonder if that one will ever see the light of day.

This one is cool though, would love to see it happen.

This whole redevelopment plan looks legit, and this new tower would be incredible on the skyline. Its boxish looks I think complement the myriad 1970/1980s towers in that area while bringing a modern take. The ground level design is A+ as well.

Rest of the block development is clean, and I think given the massive combined commercial/residential nature of the project this has a good chance of going forward. Look at that new tower in The Hub, it’s combined comm/resi and Lendlease is bullish on that approach.

Hopefully the design and planning timing works out with an upswing out of the current recession and this gets off the ground in ~’24.

I really doubt this will get approved. Dean Preston is already railing against it (along with the "floating cube" due to low amounts of BMR housing (I guess 0 is better than any to them unless it's 100% BMR...) and one of the more funny complaints I saw about it was that it'll overshadow and make the Transamerica Pyramid not visible from the vista point at the Golden Gate Bridge...
