In the time they've gotten 4 highrise projects up and running (3601 Market, The Laurel, 1620 Sansom and now this, 418 Spring Garden), only one other developer outside of the major universities and hospitals has done that: Brandywine Realty Trust... no other major developer in Philadelphia has done the same. Maybe PMC has too? But still... my point still stands, as their projects are typically not as exciting until River Walk towers.
They definitely took things slowly with the Laurel (and frankly I was worried it would scare them off the Philly market; I heard something secondhand which alluded to that, FWIW) but I think they took that experience to really learn how things operate around here and it's paying off.

Hey I used to hang out there a lot circa 2016/17, maybe we talked at the bar haha. Spent a lot of time petting Franklin.

And like other people have pointed out they just moved around the corner to 11th and Brandywine. Haven't been to the new place, it looks swankier

We probably did, haha! I had no idea they moved. Glad they're doing alright. I use to come through every once in a while with my running group. Loved the upstairs and miss that place.

Between Spring Garden & Delaware Ave the amount of projects is insane. that's not even a mile radius from each other.

This development is going to continue from the Delaware to Broad street in no time. Seemlessly connecting Fishtown, NoLibs, and Callowhill

Some cement already in; they were about to do more. Looks like rebar in the part already poured?

This is Southern Land Company. This project is going to fly out of the ground.

Yes, really lovely buildings going up..now just need to address the medians/streetscape on 'spring garden'

The greenway project can't happen soon enough! It's depressing as hell.

Haha I had to look this up when I was at the CVS recently. The articles I found from neighbors were hilarious. Like, they would never walk by there with their children from now on, or how they would have never bought in the neighborhood if they knew this was coming. Like, lol whut? You live in the city. There are sex related shops all over the place.

You think people aren't buying houses in Society Hill or Queen Village because Condom Kingdom is two blocks away? Or folks aren't buying apartments in Chelsea or the West Village because there are gay book shops nearby?

People are the most.

I was actually hoping it was an upscale strip club, tbh. Was a little disappointed it was only for apparel etc.

It's so exciting.
Just the fact that The GREENWAY PROJECT is happening is an acknowledgment of what needs to be done
Tho I believe it is not broad enough
Spring Garden "BOULEVARD"!?
in the sense that this should be a CENTER CITY wide policy. (to begin with)
Medians of MARKET, BROAD, WASHINGTON "BOULEVARD", COLUMBUS
(I like to call it Delaware River Boulevard, combined w Delaware Ave)
Develop a GREEN PLAN. With a timeline. A guide. Then start acquiring the funding. This may exist

Never take TOURISTS for granted!
development of the "Philadelphia Canopy"
