Walked around the area yesterday. The new buildings look a lot better Quality than what has previously been built.
Also makes a difference if a strata actually enforces bylaws like balcony storage and window coverings. Doesn't take long for any tower to look ghetto when windows are covered in foil, cardboard, or a mishmash of sleeping bags for curtains. Balconies looking like storage lockers doesn't help either. Just finished condo-shopping and windows and balconies were the first thing I checked to see if there actually is a strata council that cares about the property and enforces bylaws. Not that Infinity was in the running but had it been so, I wouldn't even have let my realtor investigate based on aesthetics alone. If bylaws appear unenforced from the outside, then it's likely no less chaotic inside.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of how Park Place & Infinity look.

I see some trees on top of one of the building. Do they have a roof top garden for the resident there ? Was it mentioned in their marketing material ? I have not seen it.

Civic tower did that on top of the hotel portion. Except it's only for private events. If they moved Dominion up there or a stand alone bar it would be

Westland Insurance is taking over the top 7 floors of the office building with 400 employees. Expecting a Spring 2022 takeover. A media event happening today. It will consolidate 3 of their main offices into 1.

Seems like floors 2-5 are also under contract. They are only advertising for 6-8 in the office tower
