Can't believe how quickly this one will be starting. Wasn't it only proposed in June of last year? 13 months from proposal to starting is pretty awesome

I agree it was quicker than any other proposal in The country.

Although it's called Telus Sky I prefer to call it 'Twisted Sister' cause it's so twisted.

London has the Gherkin, the Walkie Talkie and the Grater, Denver has the Cash Register, and now we have the Chimney

Stamps: I've said that in the past. Looks like a chimney.... Like to see a less radical twist!

New renders showing the redesign at the bottom of the tower, including the park on the +30 level. It is absolutely stunning and I love the small new changes

the new design looks stiff. the old one looked like it was rotating. you know what I mean.

It's still the exact same architectural design other than the small changes at the bottom. Aesthetically, it looks like they added in black trim around all of the windows and under each balcony. That could be what is making it look "stiff" to you. I actually like the black trim, however, I absolutely love both versions. So even if the black trim is just a rendering quirk, this tower will still be one of the nicest in the country.

I like the update. The lego look will make it completely unique and it looks really good too.

I agree the black trim makes it look more solid and less fluidic.

So it's not just a mistake with the rendering then? I'm still not crazy about it. Less green glass though in the new version which is a good thing.

Actually, at first I liked the black but, revisiting the original rendering, I have changed my mind...I agree that the black does not look quite as good. The building looked much lighter and more transparent without it.

I actually like the black o__o It's a nice break from the over used and generic blue glass you see everywhere.
