The palm pictured is on the west/southwest side of the house. The second outdoor palm is more mid-yard/backyard. Both get generous direct sun.

Or in the case of us Southwestern BCer's it's more like nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah to the rest of Canada with our palm trees until you see our house prices
