Entire 9th floor if I read it correctly in one of the online publications, 26,000 + sq. ft. I believe.

This is just the sort of mismanagement I expect from a bloated crown corporation. Oh, wait a minute!

I wonder how things would have turned out if MTS had not purchased Allstream and stayed as part of the Bell West partnership?

^^^ I had the pleasure of riding in one of these to the Pine Falls paper mill for an engineering tour (yeah, it was a while ago). It was like riding on a cloud in silence. The MCI buses are surely one of Manitoba's finest products.

Nice, never had the chance to enjoy the ride personally but it sounds like you had a great experience. I value your opinion on many of these topics.

This isn't a new story but the addition of a clinic/pharmacy in the West exchange is positive and continues to add services to an area that was once the garment district in the not to distant past, increasing essential services to an area with a growing population due to an increasing residential component.

A healing space with history
Health and heritage mix at Exchange District clinic

Commercial Real EstateBy: Murray McNeill

It's probably fitting the only walk-in clinic/pharmacy in the city's west Exchange District doesn't look like a conventional walk-in clinic/pharmacy.

For starters, there is the sheer volume of the roughly 4,800-square-foot space located on the ground floor of an historic, seven-storey, warehouse-turned-office building on the southwest corner of King Street and McDermot Avenue. The ceilings in the reception/waiting room area are about 4.6 metres high, with the heating ducts and other parts of the building's mechanical system fully exposed.

You must not watch your share price then. The shares jumped when the sale was announced.

Magellan signs MOE to produce F-35 tails
By: Staff Writer

Magellan Aerospace has formalized its association with BAE Systems for work it has already been doing for some time on the F-35 Lightning II program.

At the Paris Air Show this week the company signed a memorandum of understanding with BAE to produce more than 1,000 sets of horizontal tails for the conventional take off and landing (CTOL) variant of the F-35 program over a 20-year period.

Magellan’s Bristol Aerospace unit in Winnipeg has been building the horizontal tail assemblies for the F-35 some time.

The deal has a potential value of more than $1.2 billion for the Winnipeg shop.

It has already shipped more than $100 million on the F-35 program to date.

Bristol Aerospace is also building the forward lift fan vane box assembly and transition duct for the VTOL version for Rolls-Royce Indy. The vane box was started about 12-15 years ago IIRC.

This is positive as the Hog Market has taken some serious blows in the last year or so due to feed prices/drought in the US.

It shows there is confidence in the Man. market as expansion = increased export = a possible rebound for Hog producers, who were going out of buisness due to the increased costs.
