Of the office tower proposals, I bemoan the dormancy of CC3. Superfluous spire aside, it would be a pretty nice addition.

Obviously, I'm the opposite. CC3 is a mediocre design. It destroys a landmark development. There's too many towers already in the CBD from appreciating architectural individuality to the pre pandemic hoards of people.

I fear the turn in the office market doesn't diminish the endangerment of this modernist complex. The developer will eventually revise their plans for something denser and even more mediocre than CC3

It's also the ~8th tallest Office-only (not mixed use) tower in North America, excluding Manhattan, since 1995.

That size is pretty rare since the early 90's recession but one of those taller Office towers ended up in Calgary.

And then there’s this wannabe super-tall which will be lucky to reach grade by the end of 2023… the only noticable progress in the last 10 days is those vertical forms in the photo below.

But perhaps it’s best there appears no rush to join the skyline .

As I understand it, Concord Sky is 301 m. at one end and 299 at the other, so it might still qualify as a supertall. As for the slow progress, if I'm not mistaken there was a work-stoppage order that was recently rescinded. In fact, there was more work going on during the injunction than there is now.
