Kind of sad that so much nice new work was ruined.

I noticed the east side LED's were lit up all the way to the top this morning. Some might think of it as light pollution, but I think downtown needs more of it to jazz it up. Curious to know if it is colour changing or just white.

I was just walking around it over the weekend and seen how many of the panels in the first 10 floors were either bent or dented or just coming off. It's such a shit show for such an amazing building. I'm hoping for a 2025 date for when it's finished lol

300 Main has already become an erected money pit at this point.

There seems to be an incredible amount of fill that they are removing from somewhere underground and storing on Fort. Does anyone know what that is from?

I’ve heard they’re digging up the P3 level, possibly to reinforce the foundation because the building is settling more rapidly than they had assumed. It was widely discussed as something that might happen back when all the random building jolts/earthquakes were happening during structural construction. Someone told me recently that work was actually moving forward on it. Not sure if it’s accurate info. It’s hard to get information other than hearsay because the whole fact that the building has experienced high amounts of shifting since it went up has been kept very very hush. Marwest openly denied the seismic events even happened on site in the days after they happened, but everyone felt and heard them, some people were even knocked off balance.

They are not reinforcing the foundation because the building is settling. They are lowering the P3 floor to accommodate the size of today's vehicles.

The building is on caisson. So if it's settling, then I would not go near that place.

Concrete caissons that are "rock socketed" i.e. the base is drilled about 3-feet into the bedrock and anchored in place.

Settlement is not an option.

Remember - the issue to going higher on this building was the rigidity of the original elevator core (which was reinforced prior to the building going up) - not the load capacity of the piles.

That makes sense, especially for moving vans, etc.

Top sold SUV these days are Rav4, Crv, Forester, Highlander and all are not that big. Don't shit on SUV owners when the vast majority are not Escalades or jacked up monster trucks.
