The Laurel Rittenhouse lit up in the Philadelphia skyline for the first time by Philly SkyGuy, on Flickr

I will also be coming back to the city tomorrow. I haven't really walked around the city since October

The way it changes colors looks really nice. It's a bigger lighting game changer than I expected. I wasn't expecting much more than a solid color light from the rendering.

I agree, the lighting looks absolutely incredible. I think this puts the Laurel above Arthause for me. Love it

^Very cool. Let’s hope the Eagles win today - and in two weeks when they host a home playoff game, The Laurel’s crown is all lit up in Green! Go Birds!

I noticed it while walking on Washington Ave towards Dock St last night - thought maybe it was the very first time it was lit. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice it looked - wasn't expecting anything that dynamic. Really impressed.

This is a beautiful building and the light is good; has good presence from the international airport so its really noticeable.

Haven't heard that it's not. The retail base is still under construction so it probably hasn't been turned over the the tenant yet. I would assume it's happening unless something indicates otherwise.
