Unfortunately I don't think that many of us work or live downtown, or at least that's my impression. Speaking for myself, I know I don't go downtown 1% as much as I used to since I don't work there anymore, even though I love to be there and live very close by. Daily life just doesn't take me there to take photos for everyone. haha

The same ^^^ It's about a mile walk for me and driving there is a hassle. I will try asap, but it's just one of those things where I gotta get my butt up and go.

I have let you down, Jack!

In the above photo there is a big hole that must be the ramp (under the Weston sign, appropriately enough in the stand-alone garage across the street).
The Garage ramp is accessed from inside the pass-thru area. That open hole you mentioned is the ramp (very steep) coming up from ground level to the 2nd floor.

Oh, and someone asked about the slab on grade not being down... This allows the building structure to start early and get going before having to wait on underground work (electric, plumbing, etc.) to be completely finished. The slab will be placed after the podium is complete (Lvl 7).

Hey everyone,
I've been a casual reader of the forum for a couple years now but I wanted to go ahead and make an account as there were a couple links I wanted to share regarding this project. They aren't much but they do help better visualize the construction process as photos are a little hard to come by.

This first link goes to a live 24/7 weather camera that faces downtown from the University Health building. The quality isn't exactly HD but it is the only camera I know of that faces the 300 Main site constantly. (You can see from it that they are working on the fifth/sixth floors this week)

https://news4sanantonio.com/weather/...ealth-downtown

Lastly, this is a YouTube video from a channel called TexasTravelers so all credit goes to him. He normally records drives around the San Antonio area but he did a walking tour of this construction site last week and even captured some footage of the Floodgate project at around the 7:00 mark.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpztaN6h4pw

Hope these help somewhat!

Hey (again) everyone,
Just wanted to post a screengrab in case anyone had trouble with loading the weather camera. This was an image from a little earlier this evening so hopefully it gives everyone a better visual representation of where the project is at right now.

Again this can be found at :

Thanks, CWalk99!

FYI, you can post the image (any image) like this:

Put the link here to give credit to the source.

And it looks like this:

^^ You're welcome.

Better yet, below the image, include the link to the source webcam, not the photo. Like this:

https://api.wetmet.net/widgets/strea...056a82ef176ceb

But either way works.

Just to be clear, CWalk99 found and posted the webcam link.

From the view on the webcam, it looks like the garage podium has two floors to go.
