Maybe more skilled, but too small. He will be incredible in his own right, but will be pushed around more than CMcD.

More and more small guys are taking over with Hughes, Makar, Debrincat, Caufield etc. I see Bedard coming close to 150pts.

A decent game overall, but horrific D-zone play and some of the most blatant defensive mistakes of the year.

Why was 91 trying to play D and 14 chasing the puck to the top of the blue line?

We will be lucky to get out of round 1.

Karlsson is at 9 games left and 90 points. Can he be the first defenseman to reach 100 points since Brian Leetch in 1991-1992? He'd only be the sixth defenseman ever to reach it.

I don't know. According to the WHL.ca, he's only 3Kg behind Connor who's had another decade to bulk up. He's fiesty too, 62pim this year. I didn't get to see McDavid play junior though.

It's going to take a while though. He won't even be 18 until a month after the draft.

I hope he stays healthy and has a long career.

Still very early for sure and I wish him all the best, but really wonder about his ability to jump into the NHL and play a much bigger mans game.
