^^^Are they planning on building both those buildings, 1112 carroll and the one on May, at the same time or separately?

IIRC they were talking about breaking ground on the residential tower first.

Nice view of OCS walking up State! State all the way up to Division feels very Manhattanish with OCS these days.

Another article on the Century/Consumers buildings. I hope they can get creative and come up with a good plan that is both safe and saves these buildings.

Looks like we might have another one in the works

Colin Kihnke’s CMK Companies signaled where it could pursue its next big South Loop development.

An LLC sharing an address with the Chicago developer expanded its development site portfolio with a $5.5 million purchase across two respective deals for land at 1624-1704 South Wabash Avenue last month, Cook County public records show. The seller of both parcels was a trust whose beneficiaries are unclear from the records.

Good! That's a pretty ratty block of Wabash still, especially on the west side. The east side has Fred Anderson Park though which is a great amenity. A new tower there should help block noise from the L too, which is good.

Would be nice to see the South Loops attract HQ's and things akin to that like the West Loop so it isn't so sleepy. So much development there yet things aren't clicking

And the factory/warehouse style new constructions all over the West Loop are VERY welcome additions to the city.

I've been out of the loop on this Fulon area so just a few questions if you guys got a minute.
1. Was anything ever proposed for the site just east of 360 N. Green next to Halsted?
2. Is the tower on the demolished Coyne College site still a go or was that scratched?
3. What's the target opening date for the Guiness building?

1. Nothing official yet. Onni, the developer that owns 357 N. Green St, says they want to build a mixed-use building that could be nearly 700,000 square feet: https://www.chicagobusiness.com/comm...wntown-chicago

2. Sterling Bay still seems interested in developing the site. Here are new renderings they released for the development: https://sterlingbay.com/properties/330-north-green/

3. Guinness is planning to open 2023, ideally by St. Patrick's Day
