He has also won multiple awards for the urban planning of Seaside, Florida; Kentlands, Maryland; and Alys Beach; Florida. Duany cofounded the Congress for the New Urbanism. Duany's firm Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company has worked on designs for hundreds of towns and planning codes.
