Well, that's definitely an interesting development. The scale of the Loblaws really throws things off mentally. Seems like a "small" parcel of land, and then you realize that Loblaws is actually pretty huge.

further $129 million was set aside for smart meter deployment and work on large projects including SaskPower’s Logistics Warehouse Complex in Regina.

Other planned capital projects for the upcoming fiscal year include the ongoing refurbishment of the E.B. Campbell and Coteau Creek hydroelectric power stations and the expansions of the Ermine and Yellowhead Stations.

Regina trucking company buys land at Global Transportation Hub

Another parcel of land at the Global Transportation Hub outside of Regina has been sold.

According to the provincial government, trucking company 4Tracks Ltd. has bought 15 acres of land at the GTH, where it will build a 16,740-square-foot office, a warehouse and a wash bay facility this summer. The company is expected to invest more than $8 million into the project.

It looks like lots of activity on the Cargill crush plant. I could see at least 3 massive cranes from the bypass. In the aerials below you can see the loop track forming up.
