No, to be an Asseau you must paint every New Yorker as a Nosferatu lunatic.

very generic. But Staples is the "Michael's" of office supplies. It is the "Bed, Bath, Barf, and Beyond Bankrupt" of stationary. I hate the place.

way back in the day, when I lived in downtown Vancouver, I interviewed with Staples for a retail management position. Much to my surprise, during the interview, some guy that I went to high school (clear across the country in Montreal: what are the chances?), interrupted our interview for some thing or another, and the guy conducting the interview went all George Bolanis-y on him. I decided I didn't want the job (even though that guy from my high school was a complete dick, and probably deserved to have a new asshole torn off him...I just thought it was unprofessional during the interview, and it seemed like a harbinger of some awful potential future for me...not that it was all that much better where I ended up: the latter place had relatively kind upper management at HQ, but the customers were unbearable).

Wait, the one with the literal depiction of a staple is their new logo? I don't like that font. I like the other two (the older one was good for the time). Just yesterday I drove by one and I thought how nice the store looks on the outside these days. Now, that store in particular I haven't been in a couple years to and have virtually no reason to ever go. The last time there was a cunt employee that gave me attitude actually.

The third part of the slogan "work. learn. grow." is very cheesy though.

IMO logos are getting worse. The newer incarnations are usually worse than their previous incarnations.

I mean, WTF?

How is this

an improvement over this

The real reason why people insist on Quebec Maple Syrup (unless, of course, you want the product of old greenjeans pissing in a bucket)

Walked around a little bit in liberty village today. Saw this logo in various places, including some street signs. Am I missing something? What is this supposed to represent other than LV? Like is there something clever going on that I don’t see? Why is this so awful?

Ya the original is much better. I like the little plane. it makes me excited to book trips looking at it. The new logo looks like it could be for a shipping company.

The new Expedia logo is change for change's sake. All it did was help a branding expert get paid and a VP marketing to say "I did something"

Have we ever done a round-up of NHL Team logos?

Same. I liked the heritage "O" as well, but I really disliked the white faced 3D centurion logo we had 2007 to 2020.

It's the Budds' brand logo. They have so many dealerships for different auto makers!

I got my Mazda3 from them. A used 2010 hatchback, 2.5 litre 4-cyl with a manual transmission. Best car I've ever owned, though she may be approaching the end.

Yeah true. I know they had more than just this but didn't realize they had that many different brands. I actually have to go to Budd's Collision next week to get a quote for the rusting above the windshield and then see if those fucks at Mazda Canada will cover it. I looked at several of the CUVs and SUVs on the lot and half of them had this problem. Apparently the paint is too soft and it chips way too easily there and starts rusting.
