At this pace I look forward to the topping out ceremony sometime in 2030...

Good thing there is another supertall. 299 metres doesn't cut it. Toronto has two of them.

Thanks. I was also confused because the diagram shows it at 309M not 299M like WhipperSnapper suggested. Has the height been changed?

The official height of the Sky Tower according to Urban Toronto is 312.5m .

I think the 299m reference was to Concord Sky.

Here you can see just how little has happened in terms of height gains since November. That said you have to take about 10 days of slow downs for the Christmas break, they had a fire that shut things down for days, and then we've had several bad weather events that slowed progress as well.

About to move onto the 8th floor now, only 86 floors to go!

Scallops.

Looking at them reminds me of a meeting I once had in TD Centre. The room had a raised floor above the bottom of the window pane and heating system. It was a very narrow room and all I could think the entire time was how close one of the chair wheels was to the edge of the raised floor leading down to the heating register and window pane. There was no reason for the floor to be raised either. Must have been left by a previous tenant.

This list needs to be updated. Sky One as at grade now, well past just excavayion.

Here are some images of 160 Front. This tower is going to look stunning. I didn't realize what a cool effect the angled glass would create. 740ft of this will shine.

I'm curious as to why urbantoronto has The One at | 338.3m | 94s

But we still have the old height here?

338m isn't approved yet, only 309m is. So until it's approved, SSP is sticking with 309.

Indeed. Building permit is for an 86 storey tower. Urbantoronto is a forum of locals. Heights in their thread titles matter less

I'm liking the 160 Front Tower, so far.

Glass looks good.

But I always find that the forumers and moderators over at UT know what they are talking about. They rarely post heights on mere speculation.

160 taken by ut forumer mburrrrr.

I don't recall seeing a building wrapped in black during construction before.

Why post anything in a database beyond what is in the public record and approved? If it changes it changes.
