Oh wow. After such a long time it is amazing to start seeing this ride! I also love how Deloitte Summit is filling the gap in those photos.

You get a good sense of the size of the towers now and the Dunsmuir side looks much better than it used to.

Glad to see symmetry for the vents on the front facade.
Hopefully the 2 remaining spandel sections will be dark spandrel and the correpsonding west areas are open alcoves.

September 18, 2020 – For the next two weeks:​

Level 11 slab on the east side of the South Tower will be complete.
Level 11 slab on the west side will be formed.
The Level 10 structural steel atrium will ongoing.
Level 6 slab will poured on the east side in the North Tower.
Block wall installation will continue through levels 1, 2 and 5.
Drywall partitions and bulkheads will continue on level 2.
Exterior wall spray insulation has commenced on level 3.
Miscellaneous concrete demolition will continue throughout the building.
Elevator installation will continue in the podium levels.
Exterior wall framing and glass installation will continue along Hamilton Street.
The two north cranes will be climbed to their top elevation.
The Hamilton Street sidewalk adjacent to the building will be closed for the duration of the project.
The Hamilton Street southbound curb lane will be closed daily from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (Monday – Saturday).
The Homer Street curb lane will be used intermittently during the day for deliveries.
Noise exemption permits will be applied for all weekends until further notice.

It definitely didn't quite occur to me what a massive presence this would have with towers on top. The old post office building is massive enough taking up the whole block, but with 2 towers on top it will be a game changer.

Its going to be a defining building for downtown.

It certainly is a blessing from the past. This would never ever be allowed if such a scale was proposed today.

I still think the development would've looked way better with one short and one really tall tower on it.
