Holy cow this one turned out fantastic. I was a bit worried but on the whole I think it looks amazing.

Agreed. Occasionally, we get one that actually looks better in real life than it did in the renderings, and I think this is one of those.

Well there is still opportunity for 3001 JFK tower to be build help add to the towers in the 30th street district. Some more land to develop.

Wouldn't it be wise to start putting up proposals for the grid extending north over the rails? Just show momentum is to be continued.
I mean, if this isn't showing momentum, I don't know what is. Start solidifying the "30th STREET STATION DISTRICT". It would attract more attention and more speculators if the streets are, at least, progressing.
Street views and renderings?
Just the next block or 2 north.
These 2 projects I think are going to stun people at the transformation. Many couldn't have imagined what is happening. Now maybe they'll see it happening.

I think it's also that wide (at least for the lower portion) because it's optimized for lab/life sciences space and for those types of workspaces wide-set floor plans are optimal.

I'm fairly certain Schuylkill Yards and the 30th Street Station District are two wholly separate and distinct proposals that aren't really too involved with one another.

Also, the latter involves a greater deal of input and cooperation from Amtrak which, I can say from experience, will greatly slow progress.

To the best of my knowledge the name "Schuylkill Yards" is kind of deceiving. It involves absolutely nothing over the actual yards, that's only envisioned in the 30th St District Master Plan. Schuylkill Yards is just a couple of pieces of mostly Drexel-owned land ground leased to Brandywine to develop.

To my knowledge there are three "plans" here:
Schuylkill Yards - Development by Brandywine

30th Street District - Local organization with a vision to develop the entire area, including over the yards. Amtrak, Brandywine, Drexel, SEPTA, and others are all partners in this project.

Amtrak Master Plan - Amtrak's plan to renovate and expand that station, which includes reopening the tunnel, new bus terminal, etc.

I'm just hoping that all these people involved create the impetus for promoting interest in northward development.
Particularly over the yards.
It's been promoted as such and now would be a good time to, at least, create a buzz.
Creating an image of what might be
These projects show there is an interest.

Correct (broadly) on the three separate projects, although they are all connected and rely on each other for success.

Schuylkill Yards is neither on the Schuylkill River nor over the rail yards. It's all just branding.

She's growing on me. Glass almost up to the top

I think my favorite angle of it is how it towers over 30th street station

I may have said this earlier in this thread (too lazy to look), but I think this is one of the relatively rare ones that is actually looking better in real life than it did in the renderings.
