Whoa, they're putting a small cap over the train tracks there! That's gonna really shorten the walk for all the students that live in Westmar. And it adds a small bit of greenspace that West Midtown is lacking right now.

Wow, yep, that small addition will have a big improvement for the area so long as it’s built!

I totally agree. It connects it with the other side. I just wish there was some movement with that ugly green building at the edge of Brady and West Marietta. What ever happened to that proposed hotel that was supposed to go there.

CIM Group Provides $105 Million Construction Loan for condo tower

It's interesting that CIM has financed the construction of both J5 and 788 West Midtown.

CIM Group, a community-focused real estate and infrastructure owner, operator, developer, and lender, announced today that it has closed on a $105 million construction loan with McKinley Homes, an Atlanta-based land developer and builder, for the development of a 279-unit condominium tower in Atlanta. Set on a 1.8-acre site located between Perry Boulevard and Brady Avenue at 788 Marietta Avenue, the 18-story tower, currently under construction is well-located in Atlanta’s West Midtown neighborhood.
