Awful landscaping around Ross Flats Apartments, I absolutely hate all the gravel roads and parking in the city.

I was at the legislature on the weekend and the pools out front are in ROUGH shape. Anyone know if the reason they aren't filled is because there are repairs pending? Also, two full rows of the fountains in the plaza outside the federal building were not working. Disappointing that a lot of the area looks so warn down and uncared for. Landscaping is beautiful, location is beautiful, buildings are beautiful, but the grounds around it all leave a lot to be desired.

^piecemeal if any maintenance over the years gets you there.

I was under the impression that they were closed due to COVID, but it very well could be due to O&M issues.

The shallow pools were supposed to get replaced were they not, but the budget got cut and now they just and continue to fall apart.

If there was ever an amenity to invest it, this has got to be one that almost everyone could agree is worth it? I have a lot of great memories as a kid going there and floating under those bridges barely above the water line and I would hope lots of other people do to and are passing on those same experiences to the next generation(s).

There were/are? plans for a rehabilitation of those grounds and perhaps they are now awaiting the demolition of the Annex to better incorporate them, but unsure as to the status/priority of it all right now.
