I actually hate this shot. (Jackson St), No offense to your photography skills... The office portion of Union is SLOWLY, and I mean slowly creeping upward.

Yeah never been a fan of that downtown shot. It's so overused and severely under represents the city's skyline.

Thanks for the shots though!

My favorite thing about that shot is that there are newly constructed buildings in it. Yay downtown!

Hopefully this pic will look extremely dated in a couple of years.

A little west side pic.

Nice little grass field you got there. Would be a shame if anything happened to it.

Believe it was a large 5 over 1 apartment development form 08's that went under. There are a couple of buildings off to the left that were built. Here is the "arrival" that is wasting away.

Also it was a lot more "grassy" in the original pic since I'm not tall enough.

One of the complaints about ATL is the sprawl. There are no natural geographic boundaries that confine the city. However, I have always been intrigued by the fact that the skyline is so narrow and long. It's interesting it's not wider, east to west.

Midtown looks denser than Downtown from that angle.

I'm fascinated with the Peachtree Ridge - it's literally an old native american trail (Cherokee and Creek) and something like 70% of the city's jobs are within walking distance of it. I really wish the streetcar ran its length.

Because of the development on Peachtree and West Peachtree street.
