My favorite thing about that shot is that there are newly constructed buildings in it. Yay downtown!
Nice little grass field you got there. Would be a shame if anything happened to it.
Believe it was a large 5 over 1 apartment development form 08's that went under. There are a couple of buildings off to the left that were built. Here is the "arrival" that is wasting away.
Also it was a lot more "grassy" in the original pic since I'm not tall enough.
One of the complaints about ATL is the sprawl. There are no natural geographic boundaries that confine the city. However, I have always been intrigued by the fact that the skyline is so narrow and long. It's interesting it's not wider, east to west.

I'm fascinated with the Peachtree Ridge - it's literally an old native american trail (Cherokee and Creek) and something like 70% of the city's jobs are within walking distance of it. I really wish the streetcar ran its length.
