2 observations today:
1. Demo of that ugly parking garage at 535 N St. Clair has begun
2. Looks like the tower crane is going up at 360 Green St.

You can find it here. Filter "Permit Type" with "New Construction" and then sort by descending dates and it's about halfway down the list. Address is listed 1524 N Wells.

LOL I'm very aware of building permits. Here's my map for the last 10+ years of new construction permits in town:
https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/ed...685000001&z=19

I just missed this one somehow today and used another form to search by address but got the address wrong.

They might need the concrete on those diagonal bits to reach full cure (30 days) before they can strip the forms.

It's been under construction for eight months and they're on the eighth floor. Doesn't seem to be moving that slow.

One floor a month isn't slow? lol. St. Regis Tower is 101 stories tall, it would have took 8-9 years to build if it was building at that rate.

LOL hopefully you're kidding. The rate of height growth for a building under construction isn't linear. There's no rule that says a building will take one month per floor or one week per floor. You can average it out, but it will take at least a few months to get out of the ground in the beginning, and after it tops out there is still many months of construction to finish the facade and interior buildout.

LOL, agree. Usually it’s 1 floor a week.

Exactly. Look at how fast the North Union megadevelopment is flying up. Multiple floors a week. 1000M started back up a couple months ago and its already on its 23rd floor.
