But wouldn't Chase take over as second tallest? No matter what the height of the second tower was or is.

To be more specific the office space increased from 39,000sf to 120,000sf!!! I wonder if they already have someone interested in the space?

I honestly wish they would decrease the width of tower 2, it looks awful

Yes, now let's see what happens with the Hyatt Garage, if Hines is selected that will be 475!! Lets keep them coming

...and Central Station around 420'. Man if all this stuff holds up, Phoenix is going to get a whole lot bigger. This could put us in San Diego territory!

By any chance do you have any Fact Finding information from the city about Central Station? The only information I have found is on medistarcorp.com

Can't wait for the city to keep growing up!

Not to detract from Astra in the Astra thread, but wasn’t the Hyatt Garage RFP already chosen and it wasn’t Hines?

I don't think it is final according to what I have read elsewhere on here. Maybe someone that knows can chime in and verify?

I just noticed in the above packet that they're using two different colors on the tower elevations forming clouds making this basically the world's biggest art installation too???

I have never seen cladding used to create discernible images like this either way! Cool!

VERY exciting! These are handsome buildings. The paseo will be a nice addition to the block, adding a more intimate sreeet-scale. This whole part of downtown is almost like a new city building up!

If you look at the sketches of the towers - it looks like they worked in white clouds with blue skies on the two towers. Kinda of neat - wonder how that will look in real life...

Tbh, I thought you were calling your son ‘Astra’ because from that perspective in front of the skyline, he was taller than any building and it was a comparison to how Astra will look once built. Don’t ask why I thought that...I might be drunk

Phoenix's new tallest is...a statue of a toddler!?

Wouldn't be the strangest thing to happen in this state.

Well, whoever finances a 535' statue of a toddler probably ain't right in the head to begin with.

Would that even get FAA approval?
