People in Vancouver tend to drive the same speed all year, which = to slow in clear good conditions and to fast in bad conditions.

Glad my exams are over. But this is a rite of passage for SFU students. Pretty much everyone has experienced walking up the mountain when their bus has stalled/crashed in the snow, or walked down the mountain when transit has been shut down and cars aren't moving.

They should build a gondola to SFU.

So it's snowing outside... freezing... -2 degrees. I was outside with the hose and I turned on the water... and guess what... within a few seconds it hit the ground, it turned into ICE instantly!

There wasn't supposed to be any precipitation today... but it's still snowing. It's not wet snow either which makes me more happy =)

Here on Vancouver's westside it is bone dry. I still have faith for a bit of white stuff by tomorrow morning. At least all of this cold makes it easy to study!

I am so happy that we may have a good snowfall in metro-van tonight, because since it is about to get really really cold a decent blanket of snow acts as a good insulator for all the local gardens. Still snowing in Metro, and i can hear some idiot right now in a truck trying to spin in it.

Looks like 4-5cm so far here at UBC. It's been snowing here a little longer then the rest of the West Side I think. I went for a walk around 9pm and there was a thin layer starting to stick to the ground.

The snow ends about 1 block away from my house. There's nothing here, no rain, no snow, and the ground is completely dry.
