Hot 107 says major concert announcement by a mega pop star on Monday morning.
It could be just your typical DJ hyperbole but we'll see.

Wouldn't be shocked if it were The Weeknd, the North American leg of his tour kicks off April 25 in Vancouver...Bieber also announced a stadium tour from August to September for North America.

Ed Sheeran is touring Europe on his recently released album starting in March, so expect a North American leg to be announced soon.

Nobody else is really coming to mind.

Seems like most tours are just wrapping up right now.

Hmm..would make sense given the timing.

I like Gaga's music, not sure what a live show would be like though.

It's a classic rock summer for me so far, checking out Queen/Lambert and then GnR in Regina.

Also heard this after the fact. One of the great Canadian rock acts of all time. My god, these guys are in their 70s. Had to look over their singles discography just to remember how many great tunes they cranked out.

I was raised on Canadian rock from this era...every time I go to some show at a casino I'm the youngest guy by a good 20 years and having the cougars pounce.

When your 50 the cougars will be 70 and they will still pounce. The biggest difference is their claws are sharper, their instincts are fine tuned from years of catching prey - the only thing you can do us run like hell.

Clearly you don't listen to country music lol. His latest album went platinum and is nominated for a Grammy this year (Best country song). He was also nominated for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Country Song at last year's American Music Awards. His dad, Rhett Akins, was a famous country singer too.

^^ Maybe you're thinking of AC/DC

A legendary thrash band like Metallica, playing in the summer heat, is basically a bucket list thing for me
Can't wait

Yeah, could be thinking of AC/DC or Def Leppard or Megadeth, all these headbanger bands are a blur to me.
