Please Do Not Go Beyond This Point!

Well thats what the sign said....so I continue the
walk 700ft above the sea along a frosty path...

Tourists in the secure viewing platforms at
Obriens watchtower..

Looking down..

Slippery enough in parts..

The old flag wall just not worth leaning against..

Looking back to the tower...

Further away....

Some dodgy areas....

View to the north,Connermara national park in
co. galway...

Cliff top..

Cliffs of Moher..

A safe looking ledge to lie on and look down..

on ledge looking down...

Frozen pond..

Tourists who also ignored the sign....

Visitor centre...

Ya ....8euro for parking..

Wow. That Ireland of yours sure has some nice nature to it I had no idea. Sure doesn't look as cold as the UK right now though, although I'm guessing this was taken before your little taste of Canadian weather (well, except for BC which is milder). That must be dramatic and freaky to walk through.

@ bulliver and ed...t
Thanks and ya the weather is really fucked up,we had
bad floods before x-mass and now we are getting the
coldest weather in 40years,plus it snowed by the sea
today....usual winter temps in Ireland are -4 or 5 at night
in the midlands and the other day it was -17 in the midlands...
..........Strange times.

And remember city dwelling Canadians ye have a massive
countryside there waiting for your camera...

Nice pictures. I'm surprised to see that Ireland gets cold enough for snow and ice. I guess I just picture cold, rainy days in the winter.
