No Parking in East Village?

http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/ca...406/story.html

I came across the above link and wondered what people thought about owning a condo without a parking space. Calgary loves their cars. I'm not sure I could part with my car, but I have never used Car 2 go or any other of those car share companies.

Not a chance.

I'm willing to concede that there is probably a market for such a thing in a limited fashion, but when time should come to sell I really think it'd pose an issue.

As long as the residents aren't allowed to receive on street parking permits. Otherwise good luck finding any sort of parking in EV at build out.

This thread's creation seems timely for a little parking voting fun

Calgary has been high on some lists lately, so let's see if it can be high on this one too!

I got rid of my car last year, and haven't really missed it much. Although I'm sort of the perfect demographic for going without a car: young and childless, living in a central location. I also have a bike trailer and don't mind looking like a lunatic, loading a hundred pounds or more on my bike.
