In Vancouver, we have a similarly clad, curving version of this on the books. I'd trade yours over ours any day.

At 63 floors, will this make Telus Sky the tallest building in Calgary based only on floor count?

It will be the first building in Alberta to exceed 60 storeys, and the 2nd in Western Canada (behind Trump Vancouver). It technically only has 59 official storeys + the rooftop amenities level. The other 3 floors are mechanical only. It will be the 3rd tallest building in Western Canada, and 14th tallest in Canada.

Funny, I tend to prefer the shape of the one in Vancouver. Trade it is then.

I'll veto that trade!
I do like the Vancouver shape better but height trumps shape for me on this one since Sky is still gorgeous.

That's not how it works at all.

I love it! It'll add more beautification in our downtown. Now if they can only find someone to develop the lot across the street instead of a giant patio.

What sets theirs apart in Vancouver is all the extras under the overpass. As for the overall tower, they both have good and bad angles, though Vancouver's looks less awkward at its worst. For our skyline I think the thin top will really set it apart though. I wouldn't trade ours.

Yeah, they've had the road blocked for a week now but with no discernible work happening.

They probably didn't know the word loathe, and thought it meant more than love.

You can find out who voted for each option by clicking on the number, in this case the one that voted Loathe is currently banned
