As for discussion, SSP Calgary seems suitable to me, but a place for dedicated news & updates would be nice to have although I know how much work it is to compile that level of information. Especially with the minimal amount of detail that gets public release.
There appears to be 1/2 a dozen people writing the news updates for Urban Toronto.

A lot of information and news regarding development at UrbanToronto comes from the UrbanToronto staff, but I would estimate that just as much comes from the forum members digging up and sharing information. Many of the forum members also work in the industry.
