Calgary Builders

not sure if there is a thread or if this topic has been discussed, but was just curious about Calgary residential builders. been looking at purchasing single family homes, and just wanted to know who's good and who to avoid...as far as craftsmanship, service, etc.

been looking at homes done by aikam homes. they have really nice finishes, very modern. has anyone here heard of them, or dealt with them? they don't seem to have a website. also, red tree custom homes, they have similar modern look.

couple of other builders, zubair khan and st mars industries that came up in my search for homes, anyone dealt with any of them? and additional information would be great.

also, if recommend any other builders, that are great, or to avoid, that would be great too.

Never heard of aikam and what I come across on Google does not look good from a business end of things.

The main thing you have to worry about when dealing with a small builder is the financial viability of the builder. Whomever you sign with, make sure that your contract will allow you to have your own building inspector.
