Might as well jump into the action, demo has begun!

Edit: I tried uploading some pictures but they didn’t pop up. I’m still new to this so I’ll try and figure it out and get them up

How about this:

https://flic.kr/p/2nmhTYk

I tried posting the images themselves but they are giant. This forum software is so old lol. I usually use imgur.com which offers different thumbnail sizes.

I resize my photos to 1024 or 1280 on my iMac and place them in imgbb.com for forum posting.

Yep those are it. I’ll keep all that in mind for the future!

Regardless, the old Bungalow is now history. I took those pics two days ago so the Container Bar should be gone soon as well. I’ll be on Rainey in a few days to check things out again.

I went by this site yesterday and there is now a big hole where Bungalow and Container Bar used to be. So it would seem that this is in the site prep stage now.

Yeah, that's the top height. FAA permits list the maximum height.

I just . . . can't get excited about this style any more. I'm sure this will be a lovely skyscraper, but I feel like we're already seeing this look (glassy, alternating strips of balconies, amenity floors that are open to the weather, strong breaks between sections, etc) fade away. Hell, a lot of the new stuff is going to look like a strong break with what this is (I'm thinking the supertall, the Perennial, Block 16, even The Republic, whose design has been public for a while). I guess I'm just ready for the next style phase to get here, already.
