True! I guess I was looking at rentable office space.

Its an interesting metric that gets overlooked - the square footage of skyscraper mass over a given height. For example, how much more highrise square footage above 150 meters is there in any given city.

110 adds a lot of skyscraper mass in effect!

I been thinking the same thing but even for all those NYC supertalls going up, they are tall, but not very big as far as sq footage is concerned this at 1.7mil sq ft has to be one of the largest buildings under construction in the country. For all that say Chicago has stopped building big really that's not true at all we have some huge buildings going up.

This building is beautiful. Chicago is getting a lot of nice fat office towers lately. They look so incredible at night.

Nice grab! Those upper floor offices on the wide end are going to have spectacular views of the Sears Tower.

Im assuming WPE is going to have that same type of crown lighting like legacy. If they did cut that from the 110 show...dissapointing. I wish they would have done some vertical lighting on the vertical setbacks along the river. But im sure there would be too many complaints about light shining into their office. On a different building note, you guys remember Aqua's multi-color lighting when we we're trying to get the 2016 olympics? I know they try stuff out but what does it take residents or tenants to do to completely change something like exterior lighting on a building if it was already planned. I don't want chicago looking like miami, vegas or dallas but we have to be able to get some more prominent lighting like NBC.

Our company is actually moving and taking some floors around the 48th level of the building, so right near the top.

Why are they waiting till the end to put glass on the three floor space to the north? So heavy machinery doesnt crack it?

I see the mounting brackets for what I'm guessing is a Bank of America sign. It even turns up at the end for the flag.

All the more exciting because Bank of America's new logo is vastly nicer than their previous one.
