Yesterday (5.28.2023), my partner and I spent a very nice number of hours in San Diego's Barrio Logan neighborhood, enjoying the artwork in Chicano Park, walking around, and eating lunch.

We we were hungry, so it was time for lunch. We ate here. Mexican food. Like LA, very good Mexican food can also be had in San Diego.

I've heard so much about Barrio Logan and Chicano Park, and honestly both look pretty underwhelming compared to what I was expecting. I do like how San Diego has those neighborhood gateway signs throughout the city. Those are neat, and definitely contribute to the sense of place.

I find it to be a very interesting neighborhood, personally. I like it. And I think the artwork at Chicano Park is great; the park is very well-used, too. I appreciate the park even more after learning the history of it, and the neighborhood as well.
