Great, koops. I don't like the design all that much, but that's not your fault.

Thanks! I'm not much of a fan either... I like the modern, crisp look. Or maybe its just the black & white thing. But it could be so much better...

All I can do is try to make my drawing look like the render of course.

I love the new designs!
On the Urban Toronto project page it says the tallest tower will be 1,007 ft with 95 stories. Is it just me, or does it look much taller than that on the renderings?
Especially these ones:

When you consider that First Canadian Place's roof height is only 978 ft, this new tower looks much taller.
Anyway, a 1200-1300 ft skyscraper would be a nice addition to the Toronto skyline!

It's perspective. FCP is much further away in those shots so will look smaller. People often forget that FCP is almost 1km from the lakeshore.

I like 'em. They almost look like they should be in Hong Kong.

That was my thought as well. Tower 1 looks a bit like HK's Two International Finance Centre. Anyway, I find these iterations markedly superior to the previous ones, and thanks again to koops for the new renders.

Ditto the thanks to Koops for his hard work. Out of curiosity, is it possible in the diagrams section to see the various iteration drawings of One Yonge?

Thanks Koops. That's quite the variation in design. And I'm a little taken aback that the first proposal was two and a half years ago. It doesn't seem that long ago we first heard of this.

Time flies, even when one isn't having fun. Seeing the very first design now, I actually like it most, despite its being what appears to be a placeholder/massing study.

Yeah, that's exactly what that first one was... but I like this latest one the most so far...

I agree, the latest design is probably the best iteration thus far.

This reminds me so much of Foster's original WTC towers proposal...
