^ if demand for housing is strong enough to result in those rates in 2022, then there's less excuse for certain new projs to not break ground in the next 6-12 months. oceanwide should also be snapped up if the current owner can't complete it.
meanwhile....I like how trees are visible on the upper levels of the grand ave proj....good thing too that some of the sides of the upper level walkways are being covered with metal panels.....but that east facing side?.....oh oh, we've got a problem, houston. Those big blank umber colored walls near 1st & olive st hopefully aren't the final product.

those blank walls will be an even bigger issue if the colburn school proj doesn't go forward....that's one devlpt in dtla I really wanted to see break ground & start construction. That & the apt tower at 4th & Hill & the olympia proj between 9th & olympic blvd east of the fwy.
still, dtla in certain ways is better today than it has ever been since the city of LA was created over 200 yrs ago.
