456 Main Street has Sold (originally the Bank of Toronto Building) and now is the home to La Carnita and empty 2nd floor. Hopefully a new restaurant or something moves in.

Holey BIG photos

I like the density of housing though. It's turning into a real neighbourhood.

I think a proper tower crane in the Exchange for a new residential building is justified for giant photos. I approve.

seeing the new cranes for the mayfair project and this one in the exchange soften the blow of the st. mary ave. stalled project somewhat!

When I heard 456 Main St was sold, I thought your company may have been the purchaser.
For some reason I thought it was the type of exchange building you would like to buy for your portfolio.

We have owned 460 Main Street next door for 50 years. The vandalized bronze gates are being recast in Ontario. Should be able to reinstall in the Spring.

Hope the purchaser is an owner user as this beautiful building’s condition has been precarious for some time. It’s very disheartening to see the evaporation of commerce in the area. Thank goodness for Parlour!

Gun Shots

Well our window at 460 Main was SHOT OUT.

Front doors smashed yet again.

Thankfully no one was hurt. But yeah down town is definitely getting better…

As we said above, very disheartening.

Anyone want to buy a beautiful piece of the City’s history?

456 Main St (formally La Carnita) also had some windows broken a few weeks back. I think painted boarded up windows is the new future for these historic buildings. so horrible to see

Man, I knew tech was advancing at a rapid clip these days but the Google StreetView of your property shows the updated image already!

No, wait, that was a different time the window was broken...

Never mind.
