What are you talking about? There is a public alley separating 56 W Huron from the corner parcel. That alley isn't going anywhere, the developers have not filed a motion to vacate the alley and the city wouldn't allow it anyway, since it would create a dead-end.
If the developers own the corner parcel, they are surely planning a future phase there. If they do not own the corner parcel, then they simply have permission to use it for construction staging.
Either way, that corner parcel will not sit fallow as some kind of landscaped private park. The garage doors will be visible from Dearborn at first, but eventually something will go up on the corner and block the view. No different than seeing a party wall...
