And the serrated edge on the west facade. They provide some neat reflections and interesting floor plans.

I think in this case this combined group of blue whales is far greater than the sum of its parts. That is to say, the impact on the river canyon of all these towers taken together is probably the best part of any of the individual buildings.

It is a stunning project and I can't imagine much better for the site.

Actually I think the opposite on this one. I don't think the square aesthetic makes much sense here. It doesn't make sense to me because of the angle at which the tridents follow the stepped side of the building. As a result square trident columns would not be square with the buildings hard right angles. The tridents are going to clash with the building no matter the aesthetic so in this case I think it's a better design choice to commit to exaggerating that contrast rather than trying to force a matching aesthetic that doesn't match.

^Interesting take. I see what you mean how the tridents are on a slight angle, but I still think square tridents would still work better than round.

To accommodate the change in the angle, it would be awesome, but pricey, if each square column of the tridents did a slight "twist", several sections per column, like a DNA Helix. I don't have a napkin handy, otherwise I'd sketch what I mean.

The cladding of the spit V's on the Union Station Tower are going to basically be hexagons.

Kind of similar to the single round column on Rorn's CNA tower, I see the round cladding here to be something that is intentionally differentiated to provide some interest in an otherwise very restrained design.
