Re: cannabis stores. At Delta 9, you scratch your order on a piece of paper and give it to the cashier. Or you just go up and tell them what you want. Other stores are all similar. I don't mind it.

They'd have to go full on LC security, maybe even more, if they wanted to have product on the shelves.

"LC security" isn't saying that much, at my local there isn't a security guard on staff. Just a regular LC employee staffing the entrance checkpoint.

For all the people who gripe about having to wait in line to enter the LC, I'll say that the process appears to have accomplished its purpose.

Definitely. Just having the locked door makes a difference. If they see a big crowd of hoodlums about, then can just not open the door.

Not just a locked door but the ID process combined with the existing video cameras make it fairly trivial for police to follow up if there is an incident and likely form some pretty convincing evidence in court.

From a couple of hours ago.
Nov 2

Took the last one because I’ve been desperate to try to compare how the final height will look vs MB Hydro.

If you could put that last photo into a time machine and send it to me back in 2001, I'd have certainly been impressed

Nothing's really changed on the outside since the last tranche of photos were posted.

Unclear what the holdup is on wrapping up the top of the building. Maybe someone (cough!, *Biff*, cough!) has some insight?

Looks like they're double shifting the curtainwall now. Can't be too long now.

Some updates:

The Sutton site. Figured I would capture it as a reference to see if anything changes at some point.

Thanks Grump!

Looks like they're just heating the underground part. Likely mechanical equipment in there they don't want to freeze up.

makes me imagine how good this thing would look located right to the corner at their current HQ on main and broadway... i'm all for the density in the true north square vicinity now, but it's so hidden from so many angles.
